The Secret Circle recap – 1×17: ‘Curse’

March 23, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

Courtesy of The CW

Alright, so I know that I haven’t always been the biggest supporter of The Secret Circle in recent weeks (see my rant-filled post a few weeks back), but I have to say that there is a lot in ‘Curse’ that works for me. Not only did the show remember that it has a history, but it did something I didn’t think was possible: it surprised me.

Let’s bitch it out… [Read more…]

Happy Endings recap – 2×19: ‘You Snooze, You Bruise’

March 22, 2012 by yellowwait

Courtesy of ABC

In this week’s episode, Dave (Zachary Knighton) gets bullied, Jane (Eliza Coupe) takes it easy, Max (Adam Pally) goes to the gym and my favorite guest star returns. It’s D-Rock (Stephen Guarino) y’all!!! DRAAAMMAAA!!!

Let’s get to it. [Read more…]

Justified recap – 3×10: ‘Guy Walks Into A Bar’

March 21, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

Sooo…can we talk about what we learned tonight? Because I feel like I’ve been writing these recaps in a vacuum and I absolutely need to hear what people think about ‘Guy Walks Into A Bar’ and what we now know about Quarles.

Let’s talk this out…

The River recap – 1×08: “Row Row Row Your Boat”

March 21, 2012 by tvangie

Courtesy of ABC

After the preposterous narcoleptic zombies last week my expectations were at an all-time low for The River’s season (likely series) finale. But Emmet Cole (Bruce Greenwood) is back! Can he alone redeem the series?

Let’s take a closer look after the jump: [Read more…]

Ringer recap – 1×18: ‘That Woman’s Never Been A Victim Her Entire Life’

March 21, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

Courtesy of The CW

Ringer continues to move towards its first season endgame. With ‘That Woman’s Never Been A Victim Her Entire Life’, the show delivers a surprisingly solid episode  – albeit slightly less exciting – episode that begins to tie events together. It’s still Ringer, though, so there remains some truly aggravating moments.

Let’s bitch it out…

Smash recap – 1×07: ‘The Workshop’

March 20, 2012 by tvangie

Courtesy of NBC

Smash throws everything but the kitchen sink into this week’s episode as the “Marilyn” workshop finally shows to an audience of potential investors. Amidst the completely uneven storytelling there is a glimmer of hope (huzzah!) when we almost get not one but three uninterrupted numbers!

Let’s break it down after the jump [Read more…]

Lost Girl recap – 1×10: ‘The Mourning After’

March 20, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

Courtesy of Syfy / Showcase

Lost Girl delivers an exposition dump on succubi as a very interesting woman – hinted at during my interview with the stars earlier this week – turns up in Bo’s (Anna Silk) life. Plus: Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) and Trick (Rick Howland) bond over thieving.

Let’s bitch it out…

GCB recap – 01×03: ‘Love is Patient’

March 19, 2012 by yellowwait

Clutch my pearls!! We’ve got a little intrigue on GCB. As the show starts to settle into it’s groove in week three, the creators finally decide to give us a little intrigue involving the deceased husband of Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb). In an episode that focuses heavily on relationships, is it good enough to keep my relationship with the show on good terms?

Let’s find out. [Read more…]

He Said/She Said: The Walking Dead recap – 2×13: ‘Beside The Dying Fire’

March 19, 2012 by Bitch Stole My Remote

The long road of season two has led to this point as The Walking Dead says goodbye to the farm in a season finale filled with a good 90% zombie action. Despite the chaos and mayhem, we still manage to get some major revelations that help to set up some very juicy plot points for season three.

March 18, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

Courtesy of ABC

Once Upon A Time continues its steady progression towards its first season finale as the matter of Kathryn’s disappearance takes center stage. Plus: one character begins to make headway in unraveling the curse (and no – it’s not Emma).

Let’s bitch it out…
