MCing the Grim Magazine No. 1 launch party Trivia
This is the personal website, occasional blog and sometimes space holder for my freelance writing. I have been covering television and movies since 2011 (when this site was originally called Bitchstolemyremote).
In the intervening years, I have written for /Film, Consequence, Pajiba, That Shelf, The Spool, InSession Film. I regularly contribute film reviews and editorial features to Bloody Disgusting, where I am 1/2 of the Horror Queers team.
I also contribute regularly and act as editor for Anatomy of a Scream, as well as the quarterly publication, Grim Journal.
I am also the co-host of two podcasts:
- Hazel & Katniss & Harry & Starr (with Brenna Clarke Gray), a podcast on young adult literature, their filmic adaptations and everything in between
- Horror Queers (with Trace Thurman), a podcast about horror films with strong LGBTQ+ themes, a high camp quotient or both
