The Vampire Diaries review – 4×08 : ‘We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street’

December 7, 2012 by thedude35

So…let me get this straight: the one relationship I have been pulling for over the past four seasons is currently relying on Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to do the right thing? Well this should be interesting.

First, let me just pick my jaw up off the ground. Once I’ve recovered, then I will attempt to comment on tonight’s episode. In one word: fantastic. Teddy (Eric Close) finally has to come clean, Gunnar (Sam Palladio) finally makes a move, and the cliffhanger has me gasping. Doesn’t get much better than this.

Arrow review – 1×08: ‘Vendetta’

December 5, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

It’s pot (justice) vs kettle (revenge) debate again tonight as Oliver (Stephen Arnell) tries to get new naked friend Helena (Jessica De Gouw) to step away from the dark side. It’s similar to last week, only with double the angst!

This week Happy Endings returns with Rob Corddry reprising his role as the Car Czar.  It also has one of the funniest cold opens we’ve seen in a while.  This is good. Unfortunately the whole Dave (Zachary Knighton) and Max (Adam Pally) side story is bad.  Where does this leave the episode?

Let’s bitch. [Read more…]
