Ringer recap – 1×22: ‘I’m The Good Twin’

April 18, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

Courtesy of The CW

Back in the fall, Ringer was on most people’s radar with the return of Sarah Michelle Gellar playing dual roles in a taut, psychological thriller. The show was broody, soapy and adult. It had a great supporting cast. Fast forward twenty-two episodes later as Ringer airs its finale as a bubble show with a questionably murky future. This might be the last time I ever get to gently mock the show! Oh Ringer! Sniff…

Let’s bitch it out… [Read more…]

Smash recap – 1×11: ‘The Movie Star’

April 17, 2012 by tvangie

It was another frustrating episode this week on Smash, riddled with plot points that no one really cares about. There were a couple of saving graces, but on the whole, this episode was a dud.

Girls recap – 1×01: ‘Pilot’

The much hyped and long-awaited new show, Girls, by indie darling Lena Dunham, premiered Sunday night on HBO and it seems like people are losing their shit over it. Welcomed to almost unanimous acclaim, including Executive Producer and Comedy Spiritual Adviser Judd Apatow, there seems to be a lot riding on this little show.

But let’s put all of that aside and really get into it. [Read more…]

Mad Men recap – 5×04: ‘Signal 30’

April 16, 2012 by tvangie

This week on Mad Men it was all about Pete’s (Vincent Kartheiser) shameful descent from his self-made pedestal, culminating in one of the most hilarious moments of the entire series.

Let’s take a closer look after the jump…

GCB recap – 1×08: ‘Pride Comes Before A Fall’

April 16, 2012 by yellowwait

Courtesy of ABC

It seems that our little show has found its stride, as this week’s episode delivers one of the most entertaining hours of GCB’s first season. Despite a few hiccups, the show treats us to hilarious musical numbers, a mud fight, and Diva-Off 2012.

Let’s bitch it out. [Read more…]

Game Of Thrones recap – 2×03: ‘What Is Dead May Never Die’

April 16, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

I can say without a doubt that Game Of Thrones is my most difficult show to recap. Probably because it feels like there is so much going on and there are so many characters that it’s a struggle to do more than simply reiterate what happens in each episode. So let’s give this third episode, ‘What Is Dead May Never Die’ the good ole’ fashioned try since it handily broke the action down to a few key places.

Let’s bitch it out!
