We’re back in business this week on Breaking Bad as Walt (Bryan Cranston) continues further into his depths of depravity. Even with every base seemingly covered, why does this new cook operation feel like it’s going to implode at any moment?

Breaking Bad gives us a much more methodical episode this week, serving more as set-up for the rest of the season. But, thanks to some impressive cinematography and direction, we certainly get our fair share of suspense and intrigue.

The first part of Breaking Bad’s final season kicked off last night with an opening sequence that gives us a peek into Walter’s (Bryan Cranston) impending future. Not only can we expect him to grow a full head of hair and lumberjack beard (complemented by a new pair of specs) but we can also anticipate a far more despondent, broken Walter.
