Is this the end? Who knows, but if it is we can all take solace in knowing that our friends went out doing what they do best, making us laugh until we pee a little. This week’s double dose of Happy Endings are the last two episodes of the season, possibly the series, and they leave it all on the floor, like the ballers we’ve come to love. Let’s review.

It’s the penultimate week before the last two episodes of Happy Endings of the season…and possibly ever. Sad face. But let’s focus on the positives and remember the good times: like that time Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) pooped his pants. Or when Penny (Casey Wilson) banged the Car Czar (Rob Corddry).

This week things get serious on Happy Endings. No, the show isn’t cancelled…yet, but it’s the end for one lovable couple. Also, Dave (Zachary Knighton) discovers he’s a psychic, Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) and Jane (Eliza Coupe) aren’t as perfect as we all thought, and Max (Adam Pally) and Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) become taste makers. Oh, and did I mention it’s the return of Derrick (Stephen Guarino) and he’s putting on a musical? DRAMA…literally. Let’s bitch.

This week we have Rupaul, Andy Ritchter, a Kerkovich sister war, and two storylines revolving around Dave’s (Zachary Knighton) sandwich truck. Sounds like fun right? Unfortunately the result is more ho hum. And if last week’s numbers are any indication, these friends need to bring out the big comedy guns to get as many viewers as possible.

Let’s bitch!

The great comedy drought of 2013 is over. Happy Endings returns this week after what seems like a longer break than the inbetween seasons of The Sopranos.  It’s a good thing ABC decided to give us a double dose to appease our hunger for comedy gold. Now did the show come back in style?

Let’s break it down… [Read more…]

This week ABC continues to offer a double dose of hilarious Happy Endings episodes. But only one gets the special mention as one of the strongest episodes of the series so far. This is a real nail biter.
