Lost Girl review – 3×02: ‘SubterrFaenean’

January 15, 2013 by Joe Lipsett

Yikes. Has any character ever been introduced in such a prickly manner as Dyson’s (Kris Holden-Ried) new partner, Tamsin (Rachel Skarsten)?

Happy Endings review – 3×10: ‘Kickball 2: The Kickening’

It’s the long awaited kickball episode, or the ‘lost episode of season two’, or perhaps it’s just the tenth episode of season three. However you want to see it, we have a semi/not really new episode to watch. As the gang, from a year ago, team up to play kickball we are treated to the greatest sisters sports rivalry since Geena Davis and Lori Petty. Of course, we also get a sub par episode which does gets some chuckles outta me, but struggles to make me LOL.

Let’s bitch it out…

In its penultimate episode, Fringe delivers a largely perfunctory information dump. Does this make us excited for the series finale next week?

30 Rock review – 7×09: ‘Game Over’

January 12, 2013 by Bitch Stole My Remote

Courtesy of NBC

With episode titles like ‘Game Over’ and characters calling out their series wraps (Don’t go, Dr. Spaceman!), the reality that 30 Rock is coming to an end is starting to set in. At least the series seems to be going out on a high note.

Elementary review – 1×12: ‘M.’

Well colour me happy – it looks like Elementary shockingly pulls a 180 and turns into a bonafide Sherlock Holmes adaptation, introducing Holmes’ (Jonny Lee Miller) canonical nemesis Moriarty. Not only that, but we get a significant amount of character development and a complete disavowal of the tired old procedural format. Happy New Year indeed.

Let’s bitch it out.

American Horror Story: Asylum review – 2×11: ‘Spilt Milk’
