With Mark Latimer (Andrew Buchan) in the clear, the investigation turns up a new suspect, but the man with the underage sex conviction isn’t nearly as suspicious as the woman with the dog.

The White Queen review – 1×03: ‘The Storm’

August 25, 2013 by couchpotato

After what I’d consider a rather uninspiring series start, this episode is the best so far. Now that we’re familiar with all the main players, “The Storm” allows viewers to experience a rebellion from the widely different viewpoints of various ladies involved, including Queen Elizabeth (Rebecca Ferguson), the Neville sisters, and Margaret Beaufort (Amanda Hale).

Perhaps I should have known better than to pin all of my remaining summer 2013 hopes on a single film. Clearly I’ve bet on the wrong horse because Neil BlomKamp’s new film, Elysium is…not good.
