Coming Soon to Physical: ‘Ginger Snaps’ on 4K

April 24, 2026 by Joe Lipsett

Guard your wallet because Ginger Snaps will be released on 4K, Blu-ray, and Digital on May 19 as part of Vestron Collector’s Series.

Featuring gorgeous new artwork by Chelsea Lowe, the 2000 Canadian werewolf movie stars Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins as Ginger and Brigitte, macabre sisters who must renegotiate their relationship after Ginger is bitten by her werewolf, inspiring a dramatic physical and sexual transformation.

Mimi Rogers co-stars as their delightfully kooky, but supportive mother.

Special features include:

  • Audio Commentary with Director John Fawcett
  • Audio Commentary with Writer Karen Walton
  • Ginger Snaps: Blood, Teeth, and Fur Featurette
  • Growing Pains: Puberty in Horror Films Featurette
  • Making-of Featurette
  • Creation of the Beast
  • Being John Fawcett
  • Cast Auditions and Rehearsals
  • Production Design Artwork
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Theatrical Trailers
  • TV Spots

Most of these special features are carry-overs from previous releases, but there is one new extra: “The Pact: Ginger Snaps Forever”, which addresses the fan legacy of the Canadian cult film.
