The Vampire Diaries review – 4×16: ‘Bring It On’

March 15, 2013 by thedude35

There used to be some magic to this show… but this week’s episode makes me wonder whether the magic burned up in the Gilbert house with poor Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen).

Justified review – 4×10: ‘Get Drew’

March 13, 2013 by Joe Lipsett

The hunt to find Drew Thompson (Jim Beaver) aka Sheriff Shelby enters its second stage as Justified powers towards its fourth season finale. The big difference is that now Drew and Ellen May (Abby Miller) are both in the mix. And an old favourite is back on the scene to add to the chaos.

Smash review – 2×06: ‘The Fringe’

Another week, another ho hum episode of Smash. While season two has been much more enjoyable then season one, there are still moments and plot points that make me shake my head. At least in this episode we get another killer song from Hit List to add to our playlists.

Lost Girl review – 3×08: ‘Fae-ge Against The Machine’

March 12, 2013 by Joe Lipsett

The Dawning has begun…or rather the trials and tribulations that comprise the invitation to enter The Dawning. Holy mackerel – if this is just the prelude, what kinds of feats and adventures should we expect from the real deal?! Maybe Tamsin (Rachel Skarsten) isn’t kidding Bo (Anna Silk) when she suggests that this is the hardest thing she’ll ever do.

The Walking Dead review – 3×13: ‘Arrow On The Doorpost’

March 11, 2013 by tvangie

We finally get our face-to-face showdown this week on The Walking Dead when Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and The Governor (David  Morrissey) meet in a shack in the woods for a good ol’ fashioned negotiation. After last week’s amazing standalone episode, how does a return to the Team Woodbury/Team Grimes conflict fare?

Revenge review – 2×15: ‘Retribution’

March 11, 2013 by Joe Lipsett

Courtesy of ABC

Revenge returns to address the fall-out from Fauxmanda’s (an unseen Margarita Levieva) watery death in the last episode. But there’s barely any time for grief when there’s planning and plotting to do and everyone has an agenda that they’re desperately trying to implement.
