While this season might’ve taken some time to find its footing, this is the second episode in a row that feels like we’re back on track. Gasp worthy moments and a few solid plot twists round out this week’s episode. So much to discuss!

Let’s bitch it out.. [Read more…]

Finally! This week is the week where we finally get some answers about Teddy (Eric Close) and Charles Esten really comes in to his own as Deacon. We have quite the episode to discuss!

The Vampire Diaries review – 4×04: “The Five”

A CURE?!! There’s a CURE?! Well I definitely wasn’t expecting that. But what I was expecting (and hoping for) is that The Vampire Diaries would finally find its footing – and it has happened. Now we’re suddenly on the search for a cure, Rebekah (Claire Holt) has been daggered again and Stefan (Paul Wesley) has made a deal with the devil. There’s so much to discuss!

Let’s bitch it out… [Read more…]

Nashville review – 1×04: “We Live In Two Different Worlds”

Tonight’s episode provides us with some answers (albeit disappointing ones), but oh so many more end up being raised. We also get put on an emotional roller coaster of secrets and lies. Most importantly, however, we get a delicious scene of Deacon (Charles Eston) and Teddy (Eric Close) that I can’t wait to discuss!

The Vampire Diaries review – 4×03: “The Rager”

After a few episodes spent rudderlessly floating along, The Vampire Diaries appears to have found its new direction. With the introduction of “The Five”, the season starts to settle in beyond simply watching Nina Dobrev’s Elena fight whatever emotion is strongest this week.

Let’s take a closer look after the jump.. [Read more…]

Nashville review – 1×03 : “Someday You’ll Call My Name”

Financial problems, mommy issues and a LOT of sexual tension round out this week’s episode of Nashville. They address a few questions that were left out last week, and just build up more conflict as we go. I find myself frustrated through much of this episode, but mostly just because I want to punch Deacon (Charles Eston) for his betrayal again this week.  Let’s bitch it out…
