The Vampire Diaries review – 4×08 : ‘We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street’

First, let me just pick my jaw up off the ground. Once I’ve recovered, then I will attempt to comment on tonight’s episode. In one word: fantastic. Teddy (Eric Close) finally has to come clean, Gunnar (Sam Palladio) finally makes a move, and the cliffhanger has me gasping. Doesn’t get much better than this.

The Miss Mystic Falls pageant brings change in relationships, attempted murder, more questions, and one very big answer. Throw in a date that I’ve been waiting to see for a year, and this is one heck of an episode.

Now that’s what I’ve been waiting all season for. This is the Rayna (Connie Britton) and Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) show and they knock it out of the park. Tonight we get to see exactly why the show centers around these two and why we should care.

The Vampire Diaries review – 4×06 : ‘We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes’

Taking a break from the shocking cliffhangers of previous weeks, tonight’s episode centres more on the emotional side of things. And takes a few turns that I’m still conflicted about..

Nashville review – 1×06 : ‘You’re Gonna Change (Or I’m Gonna Leave)’

In an episode that seems disjointed, Nashville tries its hand at letting the supporting actors take the stage. Well… let’s just say that I wasn’t overly impressed.
