Ringer recap – 1×19: ‘Let’s Kill Bridget!’

March 28, 2012 by Joe Lipsett

Ohmygawd y’all! With only a few episodes left, Ringer begins to wrap up some of its storylines, including ones that are stale and boring (Machado! Bodaway!) and tasty fresh (Tyler’s murder! Catherine!).

Let’s bitch it out…

Smash recap – 1×08: ‘The Coup’

There’s a benefit to recapping a show a bit late: you get a taste of what to expect from the reactions of others. To say that the reaction to ‘The Coup,’ the eighth episode of NBC’s Smash, is critical is a bit of an understatement (vehement, disbelieving hatred is probably closer to the truth). Thankfully, going in with below zero expectations made parts of a terrible episode tolerable, so that’s got to be good for something, right?

Alcatraz Catch-up and Recap: 1×13 – ‘Tommy Madsen’

Alcatraz closed its first season last night. For those who don’t know, I started to recap the show and was about five episodes in when I decided I couldn’t take it anymore, and jumped off the Alcatraz ship.

After catching up on all the remaining episodes, (only missed one due some NASCAR mix up – way to go FOX) I thought it would be fitting to discuss how the season played out and take a look at the season finale.

Let’s bitch it out…

Lost Girl recap – 1×11: ‘Faetal Justice’

After last week’s “double your succubus, double your fun” episode, I am flying high and ready for the latest adventure of Bo (Anna Silk), Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) and Dyson (Kris Holden-Ried). Alas, the show falters as it begins to establish a routine…

GCB recap – 1×04: ‘A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing’

March 26, 2012 by yellowwait

Courtesy of ABC

This week on GCB an old friend of Gigi’s (Annie Potts) returns to town with his jealous wife, Bitsy (Knots Landing’s Donna Mills!!!) and Amanda (Leslie Bibb) comes between Cricket (Miriam Shor) and Blake (Mark Deklin). But the real story is how the three reigning Queens of Mean are growing on me, while Amanda keeps hitting the snooze button. It has this blogger asking the question: how do you solve a problem like Amanda?

Let’s bitch! [Read more…]

After a loooong hiatus, Mad Men finally returned last night with a two-hour season premiere. So what is it about this show that that causes such uproar?

Let’s break it down after the jump. [Read more…]
