This episode is a little bit trickier to write about than others. That isn’t to say that it’s any worse – it’s actually probably one of the best of the season – but rather it indicates how much of the success of this episode is based on it’s light mood.

Let’s break it down after the jump… [Read more…]

While the FBI may lose a great man with the retirement of Bert Macklin, Parks and Rec viewers receive a charming yet surprising episode.

Parks and Recreation review – 5×07: ‘Leslie vs. April’

Veep Joe Biden finally makes his welcomed cameo, but in an episode stocked with career shake-ups, office rivalries, and Orin’s people farm, his visit is probably the least surprising event this week.

Let’s bitch it out…

Parks and Recreation review – 5×06: ‘Ben’s Parents’

Trust Parks and Recreation to take the most traditional, maybe even overused, sitcom plot points like estranged parents and engagement parties and still find new and completely ridiculous material to mine.

Parks and Recreation review – 5×05: ‘Halloween Surprise’

Parks and Recreation review – 5×04: ‘Sex Education’
