After a rocky start in which the second season of Awkward. focused entirely too much on the love triangle between Jenna (Ashley Rickards), Jake (Brett Davern) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff), the last few episodes have completely rebounded into the heartfelt show that we know and love. Not going to lie, I may have even shed a tear or two.

It’s official, folks! After a few weeks of anxious waiting and hand-wringing, Showcase’s latest hit series Continuum used its Toronto FanExpo session to announce that it has been renewed for a 13 episode second season and will begin airing its first season in the US in early 2013. Details for S2 (such as return date) are still emerging, so we’ll update this space when they’re available.
