Parks and Recreation review – 5×04: ‘Sex Education’

October 19, 2012 by Bitch Stole My Remote

Another solid outing from our fellow Pawneeans, or as Perd Hapley would prefer we call them, ‘Perdverts’. However, there are signs that the series may have hit a rough patch creatively now that we’ve seen the same conflict for the past three episodes.

Let’s break it down…

Modern Family review – 4×04: ‘The Butler’s Escape’

The  family is definitely still in adjustment mode four episodes into the fourth season thanks to all the changes that have been introduced. Also, is it just me or does Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) continue to age at a speed just shy of the speed with which Gloria went from zero to full bloom? Not that I’m complaining, because this episode showed me that Lily is going to be one sassy-four year old thanks to Miss Anderson-Emmons budding comedy skills.

Let’s bitch it out… [Read more…]

30 Rock review – 7×02: ‘Governor Dunston’

October 12, 2012 by Bitch Stole My Remote

30 Rock’s forward momentum towards the series finale isn’t letting up. Jack’s (Alec Baldwin) epic NBC tanking continues, Liz (Tina Fey) finally takes a serious step towards having her baby with Criss (James Marsden), and Jenna’s (Jane Krakowski) recent single “Balls” burns up the charts makes her $90. So maybe not all of the storylines work, but since the episode gifts us with a Ghost remake involving a CD tower at Staples, this episode counts as a success.

Modern Family review – 4×02 / 4×03: ‘Schooled’ / ‘Snip’

October 11, 2012 by Bitch Stole My Remote

On this fine post-Canadian Thanksgiving Wednesday, Modern Family delivers two episodes in a one-two punch. Well, one punch and one pitty-patty slap (I just learned that term).

Let’s start with the punch, aka Episode 2…. [Read more…]

30 Rock review – 7×01: ‘The Beginning of the End’

30 Rock is back, nerds! Last season may have been a bit bumpy, but with the final season premiere, Liz Lemon and company aren’t pulling any punches.

Let’s take a look at what the gang’s been up to…

Parks and Recreation review – 5×03: ‘How a Bill Becomes Law’

October 5, 2012 by Bitch Stole My Remote

Ron has a new girlfriend! Ben and April Bond over Star Trek fan fiction! And Councilman Jamm has Irritable Bowel Syndrome? Either way, the cast and crew of Parks and Recreation have delivered another fantastic episode.

So fellow Pawnee Porpoises, let’s gather round dive right in to this week’s episode…
