After what I’d consider a rather uninspiring series start, this episode is the best so far. Now that we’re familiar with all the main players, “The Storm” allows viewers to experience a rebellion from the widely different viewpoints of various ladies involved, including Queen Elizabeth (Rebecca Ferguson), the Neville sisters, and Margaret Beaufort (Amanda Hale).

Let’s bitch it out…

The ‘Escher Problem’ reaches frenzied new heights as everyone goes on the run in pursuit of the time travel device. And as you might expect, not everyone makes it out alive.

(Better Late Than Never) Film Review: ‘Elysium’

Perhaps I should have known better than to pin all of my remaining summer 2013 hopes on a single film. Clearly I’ve bet on the wrong horse because Neil BlomKamp’s new film, Elysium is…not good.

The Bridge review – 1×07: ‘Destino’

In an hour filled with fetishized female bodies, Sonya (Diane Kruger) and Marco (Demián Bichir) may have caught their killer. Is this the end of the road for the Bridge Butcher?

Broadchurch review – 1×03

August 22, 2013 by Joe Lipsett

So it looks like psychic Steve Connelly (Will Mellor) was right after all. Last week he suggested that Danny’s (an unseen Oskar McNamara) body was put in a boat and this week we discover that the family boat may have been used to transport the body from the murder site to the beach. What else do we learn?
