Alcatraz Catch-up and Recap: 1×13 – ‘Tommy Madsen’

Alcatraz closed its first season last night. For those who don’t know, I started to recap the show and was about five episodes in when I decided I couldn’t take it anymore, and jumped off the Alcatraz ship.

After catching up on all the remaining episodes, (only missed one due some NASCAR mix up – way to go FOX) I thought it would be fitting to discuss how the season played out and take a look at the season finale.

Alcatraz recap 1 x 01/02: ‘Pilot’ and ‘Ernest Cobb’

If we didn’t have enough fun drinking to REVENGE! over on ABC, then FOX’s latest offering has certainly made up for it. Last night’s two-hour Alcatraz pilot gave us plenty of drinking game moments with its cliched sound bites of the famed prison (i.e. “No one escapes Alcatraz!”; “Welcome to the ROCK” etc. etc.) So how did the new serial from virtuoso TV producer, J.J. Abrams fare? Let’s break it down after the jump.
