Ok so let’s just get this out in the open and not dance around the subject, this week’s episode was pretty lackluster. And by lackluster I mean probably the worst of this season. Coming off of last week’s classic episode probably didn’t help, but not much worked for me this week. This episode made me go back to my first recap and how the show just wasn’t scoring high on the funny meter. And boy did this episode rate low on good jokes. [Read more…]

What a way to rebound! After a week’s hiatus Happy Endings came back full force. In my previous post I complained about the show’s story problems, and although this week still felt a little weak, the episode was saved by the acting and some of the funniest jokes of the season. So this week’s episode of our beloved Happy Endings was a fairly average episode. There were great parts, but on a whole it left me a little indifferent. Maybe it paled in comparison to the great episodes that the show has had the last few weeks, but this felt like more of a return to the uneven episodes of early season one. [Read more…]
