Who knew? Amnesia Stefan (Paul Wesley) turns out to be more entertaining than I would have ever imagined. With a walk down memory lane and another emotional funeral, ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’ feels like an episode from the early days of the show.

With more witches trying to kill the hybrid baby, an all powerful witch with a crush, and the hunt for Elijah (Daniel Gillies) coming to an end, 1×04 proves to be a solid episode. However, it’s the final scene that gets this reviewer up in arms.

Who knew that it would only take five seasons for the writers to explain the whole doppleganger situation? If that had been the only positive from this episode, I would’ve considered that a win. Lucky for us viewers there Is much more to enjoy in ‘Original Sin’.
