It’s official, folks! After a few weeks of anxious waiting and hand-wringing, Showcase’s latest hit series Continuum used its Toronto FanExpo session to announce that it has been renewed for a 13 episode second season and will begin airing its first season in the US in early 2013. Details for S2 (such as return date) are still emerging, so we’ll update this space when they’re available.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our coverage of S1 here.

Congratulations to the cast and crew. We’re very excited to see where the adventure goes next!

Called it! One week after Kagame (Tony Amendola) correctly identifies Kiera’s (Rachel Nichols) accomplice in crime-fighting, Alec’s (Erik Knudsen) family home comes under attack…but not in the way I was expecting.

In a mostly standalone episode, Continuum plays puppet vs puppeteer as it tackles free-will and the future tech of gaming. Despite the lack of overall mythology, I really enjoyed the episode. Wanna know why?

Continuum review – 1×07: ‘The Politics Of Time’

Let’s get personal, Continuum friends. Carlos (Victor Webster) is keeping almost as many secrets as Kiera (Rachel Nichols) in episode seven of the show. And he might be into kinky sex? Oh my!
