Spartacus: War Of The Damned review – 3×03: ‘Men Of Honor’

February 9, 2013 by Joe Lipsett

Tiberius (Christian Andolini) and Caesar (Todd Lasance) prepare for battle in Spartacus 3x03

Tiberius (Christian Antidormi) makes an early power grab while Spartacus (Liam McIntyre) considers a deal with some dangerous men as the rebels and the Romans move closer to combat.

Let’s bitch it out…

Please note: cinephilactic is on vacation this week, so instead of a regular review, we’re linking to a round-up of other reviews.

Chris Carabott at IGN says this episode is good at balancing the story emphasizing the resource issues that the rebels would face without getting in the way of the action.

Laura Prudom gets behind Naevia’s journey with her interview with Cynthia Addai-Robinson over on Huffpost

Ryan McGee at AV TV Club says this episode exhibits more “forward momentum than last week, which spent a lot of time introducing major characters into the fold in order to be deployed later.”

Our regular coverage resumes next week.

Spartacus: War Of The Damned airs Fridays at 10pm EST on STARZ
