It may have been a low-key finale for Mad Men, but the last episode of the season certainly threw subtle suggestion out the window. After a season chalked full of shockingly overt moments, did this quieter episode give us a much needed breather?

After what I considered a reinvigorated S4 last year, summer favourite True Blood is back with fresh episodes (and butt shots). So can the show maintain its creative resurgence?

So this summer is quickly becoming the Summer of Sorkin here at Bitch Stole My Remote. In addition to covering his new HBO series The Newsroom (starting Sunday June 24th at 10 EST), I will be diving back into the second season Aaron Sorkin’s little man-behind-the-White-House-curtain drama The West Wing. Every Wednesday (the same night it aired back in 2000-2001 on NBC!), I’ll be posting a flashback recap of the next episode of Season 2. So if you’d like to join me, watch one episode each week and visit here on Wednesdays so we can bitch it out. So as our fictional POTUS loves to ask, “What’s next?” Find out after the jump… [Read more…]

Welcome to season two, Teen Wolf fans! After a long wait, our core cast of characters is back – stronger, more grown up and more battle ready. Oh, and they’re still ridiculously hot (Colton Haynes = swoon).
Let’s dig in to part one of the two part opener, ‘Omega’.

Ahh the honeymoon phase of a relationship, when everything seems just perfect and you just can’t stop loving that special person in your life. Every relationship starts off this way…until the cracks start to appear. Like when your partner purposefully pees on you in the shower and thinks it’s the funniest thing.
Did I mention Adam (Adam Driver) was weird?
Let’s discuss. [Read more…]

In the penultimate episode of the season, Mad Men gives us the return of Don Draper (Jon Hamm): Ad Man Extraordinaire, riding on the heels of a much talked about Jaguar win. But what is the cost of winning such business? For one: a deeply disturbing and shocking death of one of my favourite characters.
